Toothpaste enters the modern age?

6 05 2010

Toothpaste… an everyday type of thing (twice a day for the more diligent) and certainly nothing special. It isn’t a product category revered for its innovation and if anything has been the cause of many domestic upheavals (missing caps and mutilated tubes). So what, you may ask, has suddenly made this product so ennobled as to find its way into this venerable blog? Well we’re all for great personal hygiene and a decent set of pearly whites but more importantly the launch of the new Aquafresh iso-active deserves a mention for all the right reasons.

We’re usually quite staid when if comes to choosing toothpaste. We tend to buy what mom encouraged us to use when we were whippersnappers and we’re fine with that. This product, however, is sure to change the world of oral care for a generation. Apparently, its new formula is so advanced that no ordinary tube can hold it. Maybe, but that’s a good thing because gone is the flimsy tube and with the launch of iso-active comes a sturdy aerosol designed can – a major advancement.

That said, toothpaste still isn’t that riveting, so to compensate we’ve included the French advertisement – because everything seems especially je ne sais quoi when it’s foreign.

Cheers,
